Test Failure Alerts

Fix test failure notification issues

Test Failure Alerts Not Working

Step 1: Verify CI Webhook

Ensure your CI platform (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) is sending workflow/pipeline events to the OpenClaw gateway webhook.

Step 2: Confirm Test Reporter Format

OpenClaw parses JUnit XML and standard CI log formats. If your test runner uses a non-standard format, add a custom parser in your prompt.

# In your monitoring prompt:
Parse the attached test results in TAP format and
report any failed tests with file names and error messages.

Step 3: Check Gateway Logs for Parsing Errors

openclaw logs --filter "test" --tail 100

Step 4: Manual Test

Trigger a deliberate test failure in your CI and verify the alert fires end-to-end.
