KPI Alerts Not Working

Debug KPI monitoring and dashboard alerts

KPI Alerts Not Working

Step 1: Check Data Source Credentials

If your KPI agent reads from an external source (Google Sheets, Notion, a dashboard URL), confirm the credentials or API keys are still valid.

Step 2: Verify Browser Skill Permissions

If KPI data comes from a web dashboard, the browser skill must be enabled and the dashboard domain must be in the allowlist.

"browser": {
  "allowedDomains": ["yourdashboard.com", "app.mixpanel.com"]
}

Step 3: Confirm Dashboard URL is Still Valid

Dashboard URLs sometimes change after updates. Test by navigating to the URL manually and confirming it loads correctly.

Step 4: Review Alert Threshold Configuration

Check that your alert thresholds in the KPI prompt file are still appropriate for current metric ranges.
